Lost Library – Border Country
The first of a series of performances from a long-standing project by Welsh artist Catherine Wynne-Paton, Lost Library – Border Country looks at discussions around the reduction and future of library services. Performances will take place at Abergavenny Library and at the annual Welsh speaking cultural Eisteddford festival.
29 and 30 July and 2,3,4,5 and 6 August, Abergavenny Library, and Visual Arts area of Monmouthshire and District National Eisteddfod festival.

Jerwood Solo Presentations
Acting as a crucial London platform for artists Lucy Parker, Rachel Pimm and Katie Schwab, Solo Presentations is the second of two new curatorial projects taking place in Jerwood Space, and presents a body of newly-commissioned work by all three artists.

Contemporary British Painting: Summer Exhibition
The Contemporary British Painting group was founded in 2013. This group show is their inaugural Summer Exhibition, which looks at current trends in British painting through the work of over 40 artists.

Lisa V Robinson: Colour & Form
As part of July’s Wakefield Artwalk, Westgate Studios are presenting a solo exhibition of work by studio holder Lisa V Robinson, whose paintings are underpinned with enquiries into mark making, colour and form. Elements taken from architecture, films, interiors and graffiti, fill vastly colourful canvases to create fusions between the abstract and the representational.

Seeing the Unseen
Sara Choudhrey, Aphra Shemza, Ruh Al Alam, Zarah Hussain, Sama Mara & Lee Westwood present work in a group exhibition at Four Corners Gallery in London. The work on show fuses traditional aesthetics of geometry, floral motifs and calligraphy, with contemporary digital mediums and technologies.
