I’ve drawn some more drawings of pots (initially fish bowls) with stems coming out.

On the Research in Practice module, I’ve started analysing colour of a sculpture Shani’s created.

Along with the depictions of body parts (hands and eyes) within the installation, it’s likely the colour she used was to suggest inside and outside the body. The colour around the ‘orifice’ of the sculpture is deep red which is the colour of tissue.

I’ve decided to colour the pots of the drawings using similar colours. I think either Robbie or Karanraj previously suggested using colours in my work. I was sceptical at first, but now I see the interesting aspects of it.
