Andrew Holland

My paintings are ‘A Window on the World’ I use viewing screens when painting from life and grids when using photographs.   
I did my art foundation year at Chester College of Art with Jack Shore. I then went on to complete my degree in Fine Art at Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic.
I completed a teaching course in 1990 and have been a part-time tutor most recently with the Workers Educational Association.
I was awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Workshop Skills (distinction) at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in 2002-2003 and became self employed in 2004. I work part-time as a teaching assistant in a local High School.
