I work across moving image, poetry and ephemeral interventions. My work explores the tension between memory, spoken word and material structure. I divide my time between Edinburgh and San Francisco.
Most recently I was included in “Here was Elsewhere: >>FFWD”, Cooper Gallery, DJCAD, Dundee (2018); “Gallery Tally/Starless in Midnight”, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead (2018); “FFWD: Moving Image from Scotland”, Minsheng Art Museum, Shanghai, China (2017) and “Skelf”, Art Licks, London (2017).
My work has been shown at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art; Torrance Art Museum, California; Berkeley Art Museum; Mills College Art Museum, Oakland; Gavin Brown’s Enterprise, NYC; Jancar Gallery, LA; Modern Edinburgh Film School; Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow and Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop among others.
