Catherine Dormor

I am a research student based in Cambridge, working on a practice-thesis PhD at Norwich University College of the Arts.  My practice is informed by and involves the textile and textile structures.  It is an important aspect of my work that both theoretical and practice-based research interrelate, not as illustration of the other, but in a mutual sharing of knowledge development. Originally studying maths, I have completed a number of commissions for both public and private purposes, alongside regular exhibition of my work in London and other venues within the Uk.
