Fiona Hughes

I'm a recent fine art graduate, working mostly in the 3-dimensional 'making' world: sculpture, installations etc. I'm currently living and working on the outskirts of London. I'm British by nationality but spent most of my child and adolscent years living in SE Asia. My work is deeply informed by my life experiences, not least moving house frequently and losing my childhood home to fire in a war. My work mirrors my fascination with the concept of Home and I find myself exploring the sometimes fleeting and temporary nature of home and the idealisms of home verses the realities etc.
