Gina Parr
Gina Parr b: 1957, is a painter and photographer who 'paints' with her camera when traveling.
Originally receiving a First Class BA Honours Degree in Fine Art, she went on to Chelsea College of Art to study set design, leading to a 25 year career Production Designing a multitude of sets for the BBC: Shooting Stars, The Royal Variety Performance, Eastenders original Albert Square and interiors, The Brit Awards ITV and stages for the likes of David Bowie, Kylie, Cher and Robbie Williams.
She returned to her full time Art practice in 2007.
She has lectured at Chelsea College of Art and Nottingham University, has widely exhibited in galleries and art fairs in the UK and Europe, has completed commissions in UAE, Belgium, London and the USA and was selected to show at the RWA Bristol, the ING Discerning Eye 2023, and the Royal Academy Summer Show 2024.
She has recently collaborated with Glen Scotia Whisky, Loch Lomond Group Glasgow, to produce a commissioned painting for their special release in 2025.
Her works are held in many Worldwide collections including; Keble College Oxford, President Boston's Children's Museum USA, Director Jestico + Whiles Architects, Senior Economist Goldman Sachs and Vedanta London.
