Passionate interests in magic, imprints, the ancient and the ephemeral - and their effect on our lives today - lead me to work in resonant locations. I suppose it's an attempt to contain and reveal natural/magical currents present in specific places. Sometimes the work feels quite  meditative, but at the same time I don't want to shy away from the brutal and shocking, which are never far beneath the surface. In sharing my 'evidence' I hope people will find themselves having to decide whether or not they actually believe in these currents - and whether they, too, feel anything.
