Janet Nelson

Janet Watson Nelson is a Scottish Artist, born in Glasgow and brought up on by the sea on the east coast of Scotland. Self-taught apart from 3 years part-time study at Leith College of Art, Janet has been painting for around 25 years, working in watercolour, acrylic and oils.

Live and work in the Beautiful East Neuk of Fife.

Artists Statement

"My aim is to produce artwork which reflects and captures the power, elemental force and beauty of the sea and also fulfils people's desire to maintain a connection with the ocean and its surrounding landscapes regardless of where they live."
