I am a socially engaged multidisciplinary visual artist focusing on the ground level to explore intersections between culture, environment and the past. I'm particularly interested in more than human lives in urban space and am attracted to sites and spaces that are undergoing some kind of change. My work is characterised by scale and thorough focus. * My practice research usually starts with processes of discovery, by walking, capturing images and sounds and making collections of found objects. These materialise in my work in a variety of artforms including painting, drawing, digital multimedia, printing, jewellery, publication, installation, sculpture, writing, workshops. I also collaboratively help to run a small arts organisation in Coventry as a studioholder, advisor and trustee. * UPCOMING: Summer Camp at Eastside Projects, September 2024.
