Jean Joseph is a Caribbean-born, London-based visual artist and cultural facilitator. Her practice taps into a global heritage and influences that cross continents; Africa, the Americas, her place in Britain and beyond. She works in layers and combinations of mixed media and collage, chiefly; paint, plaster, metal, paper, text - communicating through narrative – interweaving, socio/historical and current content.
