Katayoun Dowlatshahi

I am a freelance artist working with a number of artists and agencies on private and public art commissions in the UK and abroad. I trained as a fine art printmaker, embracing analogue and digital photography and drawing into my practice. My passion is with historic / alternative photographic processes. I am only one of a handful of people specialising in Carbon photography in the UK and the only one that prints in full colour: Tri-colour Carbon and CYMK colours. I work with modern pigments and undertake research to calibrate for historic colours. I run bespoke workshops in my studio and take on commissions on request. I have also established a reputation in the field of public art, having worked with several local authorities, private developers and design agencies as lead artist and as an artist consultant.
