This blog records an exciting collaborative project exploring dynamic materials that respond to changes in environmental conditions. Working with engineers we will create a series of prototypes over the next 8 months and explore their sculptural and architectural potential.
This is a record of a research and development project funded by the Arts Council, uniting artistic practice with scientists, academics, architects and health professionals. The projects focus is the influence of environment on human experience and wellbeing.
This project is all about extending my professional skills in the visual presentation of public art proposals. I will be embarking on training in CAD and in 3D (physical) model making. The first stage is now complete: a CAD course at KLC in London – a great experience!
