Lydia Julien

Lydia Julien is a London based visual and performance artist. Often working within sequences and durational works, her practice is interlaced with narratives based loosely upon personal or abstract experience. In using self as subject, she is consciously ambiguous to escape stereotypes or over generalized beliefs around race, gender and culture.
