Manpreet Kambo

I’m a confident Fine Artist predominantly working with moving image and installation. with years of experience using different software products in my personal and professional life. I’m passionate about creativity and art within the work place and being part of a company that strives forwards and is innovative in it’s methods of creation. My practice is predominately moving image based with sculptural and performative aspects. I focus on objects, routines and rituals distilled both from the everyday and mythology. I explore the use of obsolete technologies as relics from the past, making the viewer question the possibilities beyond ones immediate self. My work is an investigation of the inner spirit where I draw on my own personal totemic symbols. I am influenced by my upbringing in a household filled with superstition, prayer and religious ceremony. Newcastle Upon tyne
