Mark Elliott Smith

Mark Elliott Smith is an artist living and working in the UK. He received his BA in fine art from the University of Plymouth in 2006. He has exhibited with galleries in London and the South West of England and has been invited to give workshops and lectures. With a passion for colour, inspired by his childhood drawings, and in reference to artists such as Miro and Kandinsky, he paints large abstract canvases in pure colours with dynamic, clean edged forms and playful energetic elements. He likes to create work which brings something new to abstraction, allowing people to see their own story, while keeping a consistent vibrant playfulness. Bath, UK
