Mita Solanky

Contemporary Visual artist exploring the relationship humans have with the natural environment. The main body of my practice focuses on the embodied experience of space, place and landscape. My work is responsive to particular sites and locations. I undertake residences that allow me to explore concepts and ideas in places that connect me to the natural world. I am based at Leicester Print Workshop Artist Studios in Leicester, with a studio and residency based practice. I graduated in 2014 with a F.Dip in Art & Design at City Lit (UAL). I have a background in science and worked in the computer industry for several years. I live and work in Leicestershire. Leicestershire, UK.
