The Studios

The Studios Gallery was established in 2013 to promote the work of contemporary artists through a regular exhibition and event programme. The Studios also provides affordable work and project space for artists. The gallery works in partnership with artists to co-curate group exhibitions and live events. It is an experimental space promoting different approaches to presentation and most importantly engaging diverse audiences with quality contemporary art. From performance to interactive events and new to established international artists. As an organisation based in a small, semi-rural town in North Derbyshire we are also aware of the vast potential of showing work outside of a gallery environment as a way of introducing contemporary art to new audiences.
