The consultation included many in depth conversations and ended with an online survey on exhibition fees to which more than 2,000 people contributed. The results, pulled together and reported on by DHA Communications, clearly demonstrate strong support for paying artists, for national principles and guidelines for exhibition fees to be established and for greater transparency about how galleries work with and pay artists. The report includes a full summary of the online survey results, key insights from the consultation sessions and a collation of gallery case studies.
