Over 1,300 members of a-n responded to the survey. It found that 12% of members hold a non-UK passport, and that 54% had travelled to Europe for professional purposes in the previous 12 months. Concerns broadly divide into two areas (1) impact on professional practice in terms of rising costs, border controls, reduction of EU-based opportunities and removal of EU protections and (2) impact on the social and cultural environment in the UK.
