Solo show at Salt & Pegram, just off Brick lane. Here are some pictures from the opening night. It’s on for a few weeks – so check it out if you’re in the area.
Just trying this out. I work across printmaking, painting and mixed media depending on what I feel suits. I work full time as an art technician and do some teaching in Oxfordshire. You can see much more of my work […]
A bit of delay in the latest posting as it took me a while to work out my sub was due to Artists’ Network: the administration of modern life! I wanted to post a review of Afgang, 2015, the graduation […]
I think sometimes that my paintings are stronger together rather than alone. Like somehow they form part of a wider narrative. Perhaps like scenes from a film that taken out of context might be insignificant, hollow, or incomplete. I’m […]

I am a painter currently studying the remaining 2 months of a Masters degree in Arts Practice. For my artist statement visit; www.laurelberry.co.uk After working for a large majority of time this year on board/cardboard/board no bigger than a […]

De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea is currently showing Bridget Riley: The Curve Paintings 1961-2014, featuring more than 30 paintings and studies. Dany Louise takes a tour of the show with Riley and finds out more about her approach to painting and abstraction.
My addition to the degree show 2015 at the Cambridge school of art.
Today in the studio, a bit on the cold side…no central heating. I’ve also been given some sand from a middle-eastern dessert. Not decided what I’m going to use it for yet. Presumably something rich in meaning and conceptual etc.
