A participatory project exploring individual experiences of sonic environments through mark making.
Here at last is my blog for the a-n Artist Bursaries 2020.The bursary was for me develop my soundart skills and practice. It is such a boost to get this kind of award enabling you to pay for courses, equipmen & mentoring and gives you a bit of ‘street cred’ with commissioners.
In my practice I explore a performative, as opposed to scientific, understanding of ‘lively material’ (cells, viruses and DNA). I am using my a-n bursary to develop content for a sound art workshop that focuses on performative ways of relating to lively material through sound.
